Summertime calls for swimsuits, shorts and sun dresses, meaning you’ll want to have silky smooth skin all summer. It can get difficult to shave as a mother because of the insanely busy schedule. Here are a few things you can do to cut down on your shower time by shaving less.

Go against the grain
When you do have to shave be sure to go against the grain. This gets you the closest shave possible. Start at your ankles and then work your way up slowly.

If you really do not want to spend any time shaving your legs this summer, consider having your hair removed by waxing. There is a hurt factor but you will have super smooth skin for 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure.

Use gloves and a scrub to get rid of all the dead skin cells that are clogging your razor. This will allow your razor to reach the small hairs that are trapped under the dead skin.

Soy Butter
Lotion that has soy in it can help fight the re-growth of your hair while also hydrating your legs. Studies have proven that the ingredient is effective in stunting growth and shrinking the hair shaft’s diameter.

Find the perfect razor
When picking a razor, it may be difficult because there are so many to choose from but just experiment with different ones until you find the perfect one for you. Be sure to change the blade on a regular basis as well.
