- Overcome the feeling of the “working-mom guilt,” the notion that your children are being neglected when you’re at work or miss events like PTM or sports day. What truly matters is establishing a strong and loving connection with your child, assuring them of your unconditional love.
- Refrain from feeling like you have to prove your worth at work constantly. You were hired for a specific position and the assignments you receive are clear indicators of your value as an employee. It is fine to occasionally request flexibility in your work or an extension of deadlines without feeling inferior or less capable than your male colleagues
- It is important for us to acknowledge that we cannot do everything on our own. We do not have Superman’s cape! We should learn to delegate tasks, both at home and at work. Ultimately, what matters is that the work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that you prioritise your well-being by getting at least 8 hours’ sleep daily. Adequate rest is essential for your body to function optimally and cope with stress effectively. Studies have shown that insufficient or disturbed sleep can impair your ability to handle stress.
