It is an ancient practice with numerous benefits for both physical and mental health and can be a powerful tool for improving heart health.” She told us about certain asanas that are particularly beneficial to reduce stress on the heart. These are usually standing poses including Tadasana (Mountain Pose) and Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) as they help to improve posture and alignment which in turn can improve circulation. Poses like Bhujangasana (Cobra), Dhanurasana (Bow), and Paschimottan asana (Seated Forward Bend) also boost circulation and help in stretching and strengthening the body. These poses promote better flow and oxygen delivery to the heart.
